The Ladies of the Lakes Quilt Guild

Minocqua, Wisconsin

Mission Statement

The mission of The Ladies of the Lakes Quilt Guild is to promote the art of quilting; to provide learning opportunities for its members and members of the community, and to support the community through the donation of quilts and monetary contributions to charitable organizations.

Charity Work

~ Hospice Quilts - Over 150 charity quilts are made annually by members and donated to the area hospices. These quilts are provided for those entering hospice and are kept by the family for comfort and memory. This is our major effort and often the work of our open sew days.

~ Library Donations - The Guild donates one book to two area public libraries each year.

~ Scholarships - A scholarship is presented each year there is a qualified graduating senior from the Lakeland area with an interest in textiles, art, or art education.

Meetings

LOTL meets on the first Tuesday of each month at Hiawatha Club House (115 Hiawatha Trail, Woodruff, WI) at 4 P.M.
